Sorry for yet another Ever After High review! I've just got so carried away with the start of this site that I felt so urged to do a review of Cedar. She's my 2nd favourite in the series, after Briar.
Yep. This is how she came! I am %100 sure that this IS mattel's brand, after a lot of research. I guess this is mattel's new take on the EAH boxes, if you've seen some of the new stock on shelves lately. Personally, I'm fine with it. If it contains a doll, that's enough for me!
So this is her. You may notice she doesn't have her ring and braclet, or any other accessories except for her cricket-headpiece. This was slightly disappointing as I look foward to seeing the EAH's rings.
Her face is also quite cute, with extremely "natural" makeup, and pursed lips. It took me a while to get used to them, but after about a week it grown on me. She has beautiful big brown eyes which match her skin tone really well.
Her "wooden" skin is really done up well. As daughter of Pinocchio, I think the little exaggerated joints work really well. She asking has a little on her neck, which I'm really happy that mattel put a lot of work into her wood template.
Her hair is also probably the softest of all the Ever After High dolls, even Apple's. It stays down well and isn't even sprayed down! Her hairstyle reminds me a lot of Ashlynn's braided-bun.
So that's it for part 1! if you have read my Apple review, you'll know that my internet overloads and I lose it, so it has to be split into parts. Part 2 will be out shortly, and I may have to postpone Holly and Poppy! Huge apologies!
