Haven't exactly been to caught up with the latest Monster High trends, I've been a bit "Busy" getting up to scratch with EAH! I did come across this, though. I loved draculaura's new makeup, and I was really excited to see Clawd Wolf for the first time. Anyways, here they are!
I guess I should start off with Draculaura, shouldn't I?
To be honest, Monster High hasn't excited me these past few months. However, we just got a new stock load at my local Kmart! Draculaura really excited me, and I bought the pack mainly just for her. The thing that I loved most? Her face!
I really loved her big eyes, and the makeup that suited her perfectly. I didn't like the dead tired or skull shores Draculaura, Becuase her eyes were a bit too... Exaggerated, I guess?
See the difference! Another thing that sold me was her throw-back style dress. I've always been stuck in a bit of a time warp, so it's no wonder I love it!
Her shoes remind me of something you would find on a Lalaloopsy doll. Not a bad thing, just a comment! They won't fit another monster high doll as they need to be large for her tights, though they do for an EAH doll!
Her hair is very thick and in really cute, high pigtails. I love her original fringe and how Mattel have kept her hair the same for most of the lines!
Alright, I give her 8/10. Now, onto Clawd...
His face is very realistic, it's molded perfectly with only one flaw: he has a little sliver cuff on his eyebrow, not sure if it's a factory mistake or a styling choice, but it's not incredibly noticable.
His shirt is very thick and does limit his movement. You can easily lift his elbows up and down, but his shoulder joints are very restricted. His vest makes a great addition to him, adds a little bit of style. And the scarf is even better! It's a great colour and really suits Clawd.
His shoes are very tough. Not complaining, just commenting. They are made from a gold vinyl and are very hard to take off, in fact I haven't taken them off yet because I'm a bit concerned I might ruin his ankle joints.
Overall, I would just say to go buy the set. It really has no flaws, as would be a great addition to your collection.
